Job Overview
As a Dispatcher at NovaPath, you’ll play a critical role in the daily coordination of school bus routes, driver assignments, and on-time performance. You’ll be the central point of contact for drivers, schools, and parents—resolving issues in real time while keeping everything running smoothly. This role blends customer service, organization, and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment
Key Responsibilities
Schedule and assign routes to drivers based on availability
Track vehicles in real time and respond to delays or incidents
Communicate clearly with drivers, school staff, and parents
Use routing and GPS software to monitor and adjust operations
Record driver absences, vehicle breakdowns, and route changes
Escalate urgent issues to operations leadership as needed
Maintain daily logs and dispatch reports

Familiarity with routing software and dispatch systems (e.g., Samsara, Transfinder)
Prior school bus dispatch experience preferred
Ability to work early mornings and occasional evenings
Calm, professional attitude with a customer service mindset
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
Requirements
